Who am I?

I am an independent creator behind Product Pencil. I have been designing and developing digital products for well over a decade. My mission is to help bridge the gap in socioeconomic inequality by helping individual and communities adapt and adopt digital technologies while simplifying their educational challanges. Product Pencil is the home for numerous ongoing creative projects, free resources and future products.

Product Pencil, offers three main resources:

• Guidelines for developing data-intensive web technologies;
• A growing gallery of visual educational materials for data science and web application development;
• Short summary blog articles on efficient and effective ways of creating data-focused media; and,
• Personalized data projects aimed at helping improve quality of life.

I created Product Pencil as:

1. A public educational resource for anyone;
2. An optimal and continously growing example of web accessibility, visual design, user focused design, software development, and as a data-focused progressive web application;
3. A showroom for other innovative concepts and future products; and,
4. A place for advocacy on developing non-discriminatory digital technologies, incorporating machine learning, using sustainable resources, and supporting lifelong learning and creativity.
